Abstracts submissions are invited for the CIB W062 2019 – providing an opportunity to present your work on a global stage.

Abstract submission deadline 15th May 2019

All abstracts must be submitted online via this abstract submission page.


Please follow the instructions carefully to ensure your submission is uploaded into the portal correctly.

STEP 1: Creating an account and logging into the abstract submission portal
Firstly you must create an account in order to upload an abstract. To begin, please click on the button below “NEW USER” and enter your email and selected password. These details are required to create the account. Once you have created an account within this portal you can upload submissions.

STEP 2: Submitting your abstract
Once you have logged into the abstract submission portal, you will be required to enter your personal contact details. Once submitted, you can then hit the “CREATE ABSTRACT” button.

You will be required to provide the following details prior to uploading the abstract file:

  • Enter Author details
  • The Title of your Abstract
  • Select an abstract theme
  • Your completed abstract of not more than 300 words
  • Once you finalise your submission, you will have the option to save the submission as a draft so you can return and make modifications OR you save so no further changes can be made.
  • If you wish to make changes, edit or replace your existing submitted abstracts you are able to do so until 15th May 2019.


Notification to authors will be communicated by 30thMay 2019. Please note the details provided as the author contact should be for the nominated main contact for your abstract. All correspondence relating to the submission will be directed to this person, and they should in turn distribute to all co-presenters.

If your abstract was successful for presentation, details on how to submit your Full Paper will be sent via email in due course.

  • Abstracts must be submitted in English
  • Your abstract must be submitted by the closing date, directly online, using the abstract portal
  • Maximum word count = 300 words excluding references
  • Only original studies can be accepted. Those already published or presented prior to the Symposium will not be considered for presentation
  • Authors presenting an accepted abstract must register to attend the Symposium and pay the appropriate registration fee
  • Once the Abstract selection process has been completed (15th MAY), authors whose abstracts have been chosen for Presentation will be notified via email
  • If your abstract has been accepted, further details on how to submit your Full Paper will be distributed to you
